Moodle Back-End Manager / Administrator (Available immediately) Overview Are you passionate about technology in education? Do you have the skills to manage and optimise a Moodle learning platform that supports thousands of students and staff? We’re looking for a Moodle Back-End Manager / Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and integration of our learning management system. Responsibilities Administer and maintain our Moodle LMS, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning. Manage user roles, permissions, and enrolments. Troubleshoot system issues and provide second-line technical support. Integrate Moodle with third-party tools (e.g., Zoom, Turnitin, H5P). Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy (e.g., POPIA/GDPR). Support academic teams in leveraging Moodle for teaching and learning. Requirements Degree in IT, Educational Technology, or related field or proven experience 2+ years of experience administering Moodle or similar LMS Available immediately Preferred Experience in a higher education or training environment Familiarity with reporting tools, Moodle plugins, and basic scripting Why Join Us?
