Job Description Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment within the plant, including shutdowns and project work. All activities align with world‑class manufacturing principles. Overview Ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety protocols in a chemical plant environment. Qualifications Matric (Maths and Science) N2 or N3 Engineering Trade Specific Artisan (Red Seal) - Boilermaker Experience 2‑5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment as an artisan Proven experience in rigging, piping, and construction work Duties OHS Act Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance and adhere to strict safety protocols. Responsible for MTBF: Execute PPM & strategic maintenance work, fault finding, spare procurement, and incident reporting. QC for PPM: Overlap inspections, manage PPM schedules, and provide QC feedback. 5S: Drive 5S principles. Projects: Perform rigging and installation tasks, execute piping work, operate safely in high‑risk environments, and support shutdown projects across multiple sites.
