If you thrive on technical challenges and take pride in quality work—this is your next big move. Our client is looking to employ a Toolmaker based in Ottery . RESPONSIBILITIES Operate Toolroom machinery safely and effectively to produce and maintain moulds and components. Manufacture and repair moulds from technical drawings with high accuracy. Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on tooling and related equipment. Collaborate with management to ensure production goals and schedules are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards. Apply quality principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Continuously develop technical skills and contribute to innovation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 10-15 years' experience in manufacturing as a Toolmaker / Plastics experience Extensive knowledge of Toolroom equipment and mould maintenance Strong understanding of technical drawings and fault diagnosis Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and leadership abilities High emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Manufacturing Plastics Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
