Overview Tax Lead and LEFIM Southern Africa Main Purpose : Responsible for operations and compliance in the area of taxation and ensure internal controls as per global and local guidelines - processes audit and control system. The jobholder is responsible for all legal entity financial topics for Southern Africa (e.g., planning and forecasting processes) and ensures proper local implementation of key corporate processes, directives and functions. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all local tax laws in the area of Corporate taxes and VAT, including tax payments, tax return submissions in addition to Bayer Global guidelines and KPIs such as Effective tax rate and BKA reporting. Identification of tax risks and implement mitigation procedures. Perform all tax calculations for accounting and audit purposes. Liaise with tax authorities, tax advisors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
