About Ground Culture Ground Culture is a company that aims to integrate cultures in South Africa. Its brand has been increasing in popularity quickly over the last few years. Ground Culture Café is the largest comedy club in the country, hosting comedians such as Barry Hilton, Rob van Vuuren, Riaad Moosa, Nik Rabinowitz, Alfred Adriaan, Nina Hastie, Loyisa Gola and many many more. The company operates a Comedy Club in Observatory and 3 satellite stores (fixed Food Trucks) in Claremont, Sea Point, and Table View. We are growing quickly and need someone to ensure effective marketing strategies while keeping the event calendar full. Key Responsibilities Marketing Management Ensure effective advertising strategies to drive sales at our stores and via Uber Eats. Your target is to double sales in each store and Uber Eats channel. Event Management Organise comedians every night of the week, keep the calendar full, and sell out every show. Coordinate marketing to sell out nights. Coordinate with event organizers to secure spots at Cape Town festivals and events, using a spare food truck to sell directly at events. Required Skills Knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads Strong community connections in Cape Town and understanding how to reach their hearts Marketing Degree (nice but not essential) Graphic design experience Success at scaling a company Good knowledge of using variance AI platforms Additional Information We have had a year-on-year growth rate of 60% for the last 6 years and are on track for a % growth rate this year.
