Job Overview Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, 30 Baker Street To lead and ensure optimal performance and reporting of the Business and Commercial’s credit portfolio, that the allocated portfolio performs within risk appetite, budgets are set appropriately, and strategic portfolio decisions are optimized across the 14 countries in Africa Regions. Drive effective execution of the credit risk strategy and framework in line with the risk appetite statements, the Group Credit Risk Governance Standard, and Global Credit Policy. To provide leadership, support, and quality assurance to the team to execute all Credit Risk process activities to manage risk, achieve targets, and align with best practices. Qualifications Type of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Mathematical/ Business Sciences/ Finance/Accounting is essential. Type of Qualification : Post Graduate Degree Field of Study : Mathematical/ Business Sciences/ Finance/Accounting is preferred. Experience Required Credit Risk – PPB Risk & Corporate Affairs 8-10 years The role requires an individual with proven capability leading people across the full spectrum of the Credit Risk field, including originations, evaluation, account management, collections, and payments. Banking experience, portfolio analysis, and/or credit risk management. Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance proficiency in supervising and managing foreclosure processes.
