Our team is passionate about what we do, and we're looking for a Restaurant Manager who has experience with the Pilot POS system to help us elevate operations and provide our patrons with an unforgettable experience. Job Description We are seeking a proactive and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and manage the daily operations of our restaurant and run the restaurant as if it is their own. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Pilot POS system and will be responsible for managing shifts, cashing up, stock ordering, waste control, staff management, and maintaining high standards of service. Main Job Functions Shift Management: Oversee and manage shifts to ensure smooth operation throughout the day, including weekends and holidays. Cash-Up & Financial Control: Accurately perform cash-ups at the end of shifts and investigate discrepancies. Waste Control & Record Keeping: Control and minimize food waste, keeping detailed records and implementing strategies to optimize resource use. Stock Ordering & Management: Manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, ensure inventory is properly received and stored, and track usage to reduce spoilage. Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to work efficiently and provide excellent customer service. Scheduling & Staff Development: Handle scheduling and staff development. Customer Service: Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, maintaining high service standards. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Reporting & Administration: Use the Pilot POS system to generate reports on sales, waste, inventory, and staff performance for upper management. Requirements / Qualifications and Skills Experience with Pilot POS System: Previous experience using Pilot POS or a similar point of sale system is highly preferred. Previous Management Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team of staff. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and interact professionally with customers. Financial Acumen: Comfort with managing cash, performing cash-ups, and handling basic financial administration. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess and solve problems, keeping operations running smoothly. Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
