Job OpportunityAs a Seasonal Hostess, you will be the primary point of contact for our esteemed guests and provide exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests, ensuring a seamless reservation experience, escorting guests to assigned dining or bar areas, providing menus, and announcing waiter / waitress names. You will also create floor plans, collaborate with senior chefs on menu updates, maintain a clean and organized hostess desk, and respond to incoming calls. Additionally, you will stay well-informed about the estate and local information, communicate with managers and waiters regarding VIP visits, and be familiar with reservation policies.Requirements : A Grade 12 qualification and hospitality certification are preferred.1-2 years of previous hostess experience is preferable.You should possess an understanding of restaurant etiquette.Experience in managing reservations is essential.You must be able to work effectively in a team.Demonstrable customer-service skills are required.Excellent communication skills, both in-person and via phone, are necessary.You should have strong organizational skills, enabling you to monitor the entire dining and bar area.You must be available to work within opening hours, including evenings, public holidays, and weekends.You should be in good physical condition to walk and stand throughout your shift.You will be comfortable dealing with distinguished clientele.You must be able to handle high-pressure environments.You should present yourself professionally and possess an enthusiastic personality.Flexibility and accountability are essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
