Direct message the job poster from Introlab (Pty) Ltd MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST Wellington Introlab is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Maintenance Specialist to oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and structural equipment across our facilities. This critical role ensures our machinery, infrastructure, and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment and machinery. Manage electrical maintenance, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs. Oversee mechanical maintenance, including gearboxes, pumps, motors, pneumatics, and more. Ensure structural maintenance of buildings, platforms, and related infrastructure. Lead procurement of spares and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Maintain organised, safe, and compliant work environments. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to maintenance staff. Qualifications Millwright Trade Qualification (Red Seal certified) At least 10 years of experience in a similar industrial maintenance environment. Extensive expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. Proven ability to manage maintenance teams and contractors. Strong planning, problem‑solving, and organisational skills. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces. Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to regulations. Decisive leadership and the ability to motivate a team. Strong technical knowledge across electrical and mechanical disciplines. Adaptability in a dynamic production environment. Excellent communication and planning skills. Working Conditions Manufacturing factory environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Requires use of PPE, physical stamina, and adherence to strict safety protocols.
