We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Global Markets to lead and deliver complex initiatives across trading, risk, and operations for a 6-12 month contract role. Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. Deliver technology and business change projects within Global Markets, including trading platforms, risk systems, and process automation. Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to align deliverables with business goals. Track progress against milestones and provide clear, concise reporting to steering committees and senior management. Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory standards (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II, IFRS 9). Foster continuous improvement and standardisation of project management practices. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 7 years’ experience managing projects within Global Markets, Investment Banking, or Treasury environments. Proven track record in delivering multi-disciplinary projects (system upgrades, regulatory change, product launches). Strong knowledge of front-to-back trading processes and financial instruments (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities, etc.). PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification preferred.
