Job Title Admitted Attorney - Commercial Litigation and Liquidations Location Pietermaritzburg, KZN Company Legal Industry Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admitted Attorney specializing in Commercial Litigation and Liquidation to join our client's legal team. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations related to commercial litigation matters Conduct legal research, analyze case law and statutes, and provide legal advice to clients Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Manage all aspects of liquidation and insolvency matters, including creditor negotiations, asset sales, and distribution of funds Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients Stay current on developments in the law and provide recommendations for strategic litigation decisions Qualifications Admitted ATtorney Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on liquidation and insolvency matters Minimum of 5 Years Post Admission experience Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to clients and colleagues Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with a proven track record of successful outcomes in litigation matters Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to join a dynamic legal team and take on challenging, high-stakes litigation matters.
