The company currently has a vacancy for a commercially minded Financial Executive to drive business performance and growth through effective financial and commercial planning. Key responsibilities Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports Product costing and international procurement (negotiation, contracting etc.) Budgeting and forecasting Cash flow planning Monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journals Income tax and VAT compliance Reviewing and improving internal financial controls Staff management and support to the finance, HR and IT Teams Year-end audit preparation Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom) Relevant professional registration will be advantageous (CA / CIMA / SAIPA) At least 10 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role with minimum 5 years in a senior financial leadership role Strong commercial background and experience Sound negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well-developed decision-making and problem-solving skills Well-developed communication and administration skills Management and leadership aptitude Professional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
