Position : Full Time: In Center English TeacherDepartment : EF Teach Online – AdultsReport to : Teacher Operations ManagerWork Location : Touchstone House, 7 Bree Street, Cape Town, 8001As a Teach Online English teacher, you'll get great experience working in an international company while helping our adult learners from over 120 countries meet their personal and professional goals of learning English Teachers receive extensive training on EF’s sophisticated, yet easy to use online classroom, and are also able to participate in ongoing professional development programs. Lesson materials are created by our academic team, so you can focus your energy on connecting personally with each student you meet in our group and private lessons.As a permanent full-time online ESL teacher, you’ll benefit from a stable salary and a set schedule, working from our conveniently located office in Touchstone House, 7 Bree Street, Cape Town, 8001Responsibilities :Conduct 40- to 45-minute conversation - based group and private online lessons with adult learners. Provide after class reports to all students, detailing their progress and on-going recommendations for improvement. Attend ongoing trainings, which is an essential requirement in EF’s superior teaching products. With more experience, create your own custom lesson material. Work HoursFull time Teachers work on a fixed schedule.Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours a weekShift/s on offer: Days: Monday to FridayTime: 09:00 - 18:00Gross Monthly Salary (incl. Transportation Allowance): R8,493.00Days: Tuesday to SaturdayTime: 09:00 - 18:00Gross Monthly Salary (incl. Transportation Allowance): R9,256.00Days: Wednesday to SundayTime: 09:00 - 18:00Gross Monthly Salary (incl. Transportation Allowance): R10,019.00Shifts subject to change based on demand Requirements: South African Residency. You must live in South Africa and be in possession of a South African identity card. C2 level English speaker with a neutral accent Completed Bachelor’s degree or a qualification equivalent to NQF Level 7 (Compulsory) TEFL teaching qualifications (Preferred). If you do not have a TEFL qualification, EF will provide you with a TEFL course and must be completed within the first month of your contract. Highly computer literate Required to work from our office in Cape Town city centre Professional, energetic, and excited about people Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
