Job Description SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is South Africa’s oldest and largest metal recycling company, and proudly turned 105 years old in 2024. The Group purchases and processes all forms of ferrous metals (steel and others) and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper and others) from industrial enterprises, scrap metal dealers and private individuals. Our processing facilities are located in and around Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and other locations. More information can be found on our website, (URL Disabled) Description The Administrator’s primary purpose is to provide administrative and office support to the scrap metal buying team. This person must have extensive experience in a range of administrative functions and will be expected to manage a large workload. Profile Qualifying experience University degree or tertiary qualification recommended Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel knowledge At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role Must have own reliable vehicle Qualifying attributes Accurate and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurised environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must be willing to work overtime - especially on Fridays We regret that it is not possible to contact all unsuccessful applicants.
