Overview To make non‑compliance hard and costly by ensuring that there are real consequences for non‑payment of debt. The role focuses on driving recovery outcomes through legal, strategic, and compliance‑based interventions, ensuring that every case moves toward enforceable resolution. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required Option 1: Relevant National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in Credit Management, Legal, or Finance . 2–3 years’ experience in Debt Collection or Accounts Receivable/Debtors , of which at least 1–2 years must be at a knowledge worker level . Experience in soft & hard collections is a MUST Option 2: Senior Certificate (NQF 4) . 5 years’ experience handling complex debt collection cases , including: High‑value matters (above R1,000,000). Disputed debts requiring legal action. Additional Experience Required: Proven experience in Final Demand procedures, Court Judgments, Warrants of Execution, and the Placing of Liens . Familiarity with Personal Liability actions , interpretation of Interpleader Notices , Business Rescue processes , and the value chain of debt recovery procedures . Completion of Articles would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Manage and resolve complex debt matters across multiple sectors. Assess, validate, and elevate cases requiring legal enforcement . Execute legal debt recovery actions including judgments, warrants, sequestration, liquidation, and business rescue . Provide expert tax advisory and compliance support , including dispute resolution and forensic reviews . Prepare professional reports and recommendations for management, committee, and client review. Engage with multiple stakeholders on high‑level legal and financial matters requiring discretion, accuracy, and analytical skill.
