Supply Chain Management Enablement Specialist Join to apply for the Supply Chain Management Enablement Specialist role at Optimal Growth Technologies . Role title: SCM Enablement Specialist Location: Bryanston Contract duration: 12 months Role purpose Assist Category managers within the SCM environment with operational and administrative tasks, including catalogue and agreement requests, contract uploads, supplier onboarding, sourcing activities, PO tracking, spend allocation, SCM register updates, training and guidance, engagement with SCM Category managers, B‑BBEE breach and penalty process, and regional and local level 3 tactical sourcing activities (e.g., Procurement card process). Drive continuous improvement of SCM tools and reporting. Support the delivery of process efficiency opportunities for SCM categories via agile ways of working. Provide input into and support the operational and administrative category activities. Key accountabilities and decision ownership Engage with technical delivery and commercial support teams to ensure an effective and agile system for all stakeholders. Deliver agile SCM operational/administrative activities. Support tactical suppliers via collaboration with internal stakeholders and category managers to ensure business requirements are met (Procurement Card process). Facilitate teamwork and cross‑SCM category support. Provide input into defining innovative operational strategies. Core competencies, knowledge and experience Good communication skills (effective written and verbal). Detail oriented. Service delivery focused. Results driven. Team player. Self‑driven and performance oriented. Supply Chain operations knowledge. BBBEE Procurement Strategy understanding. Analytical skills. Must have technical/professional qualifications 3 to 5 years experience within procurement (essential). Relevant Diploma or Degree (essential). Further studies towards SCM qualifications such as CIPS would be advantageous. Minimum of at least 6 months in an SCM Enabler environment. Experience in SAP ERP, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Guided Buying, Price Manager, Contract Watch Office 365 workflow, SharePoint will be advantageous. Excel proficiency. Proven track record of delivery against challenging targets.
