You’ll craft and implement comprehensive test strategies, execute thorough testing, and manage defect processes with precision. Beyond testing, you’ll coordinate the team, mentor colleagues for career growth, and influence process improvements. Apply now Responsibilities Analysis and Design: Review documentation like business requirements and specifications to derive test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach, ensuring thorough test coverage. Implementation: Develop manual functional and API test cases that adhere to internal standards and best practices, managed within a test management tool. Execution: Execute tests using the relevant tools, ensuring methodical and accurate testing. Defect Management: Log defects formally, follow up on progress, and retest once addressed. Retesting and Regression Testing: Conduct retesting and regression testing to ensure changes do not affect existing functionality; maintain the regression test pack. Reporting: Create test progress and test completion reports. Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and conduct training sessions to support upskilling. Strategic Influence: Shape the team’s direction by implementing test process improvements aligned with strategic objectives. Career Development: Mentor team members, provide input into performance appraisals, and advocate for growth and promotions. Team Coordination: Organise team logistics, including planning leave, timekeeping, remote work schedules, and after-hours support.
