Introduction Area of specialization: To provide a safe, organized and planned first line maintenance service within the Grid in respect to HV Plant and associated equipment. Position / Task Grade: T10Department: HV PlantBusiness Unit: North East GridLocation: Mpumalanga, Simplon substation Duties & Responsibilities Skills and Competencies Required Knowledge Knowledge of plant, equipment and apparatus Knowledge of local operating procedures and requirements Certification to execute maintenance according to HV Plant Certification requirements Knowledge of planning procedures Knowledge of operating procedures Knowledge on switchgear maintenance and test procedures Knowledge of work site requirements Knowledge of ORHVS and OHS Act Skills Organising and planning skills Communication skills Co-ordinating skills Computer literacy and analytical skills Key Responsibilities Operating Service HV Plant Maintenance Inspection Mentoring and Coaching Safety Environmental Documentation and Configuration Management Non-outage related activities Condition Monitoring If you have not been contacted within 28 days after the closing date of this advertisement, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.
