Job title: Senior Sponsorship Coordinator Job Location: KwaZulu-Natal, Durban (Deadline: December 3) Responsibilities Lead marketing and sponsorship initiatives for the brand, based in Umhlanga, Durban. Meet with business teams and sponsors to manage expectations. Ensure contractual and legal documents are in place and adhered to during the sponsorship period. Develop marketing plans and budgets to achieve sponsorship objectives. Review returns and analysis to focus on sponsorship performance. Ascertain the value of current and future sponsorships and related events. Review all sponsorship requests. Manage a team involved in events and campaigns from planning to execution and post‑analysis. Coordinate with different departments to meet all sponsorship‑related requirements. Maintain regular communication with sponsors to keep relationships active, beneficial, and healthy. Create and build relationships among all sponsored partners for cross‑pollination. Liaise with management to ensure intended objectives are achieved. Constantly seek new opportunities to maximize existing relationships. Report on sponsorship relationships and all related activities. Manage multiple sponsorship accounts and relationships. Identify and attend key networking events and functions. Work closely with the Management Manager. Travel for business purposes. Serve as the contact person for partners and handle ad‑hoc functions as required. Requirements 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing‑related position. Managerial experience. Experience in events, marketing, and brand initiatives. Valid driver’s licence. Diploma or degree in a marketing‑related field (bonus). Desired Skills High attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Prioritise customer complaints and expectations. Networking and influencing abilities. Strong prioritisation and result orientation. Proactive planning and organisational skills. Effective problem‑solving in a timely manner.
