Icebolethu Group is currently in search of a Permanent Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department, a Division of Icebolethu Group to be based in the Durban branch. The successful incumbents will be required to ensure creation of visually stunning and effective designs that communicate our brand’s message and values. Qualifications, Experience & Competencies Minimum Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design / Visual communications or related field Minimum 3 years work experience A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Experience and Knowledge required: Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in graphic designing Knowledge of branding Identity Design Familiarity with Project Management tools Skills Required: Team work and collaboration A keen eye for aesthetics and details Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Adaptability to a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail Good organization and planning skills Time management and organization Continuous Learning Responsibilities: Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software Testing graphics across various media Study design briefs and determine requirements Schedule projects Prepare rough drafts and present ideas Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design Test graphics across various media Amend designs after feedback Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Be familiar with digital design requirements - social media, newsletters, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
