Applications are invited for the Marketing Coordinator position based in Bohlokong . Purpose of the Role The Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for the management of local marketing in a specific Herotel Regional office. Key Performance Areas Ensure that all marketing activities are aligned to the national marketing strategy. Brand Activations (70–80% of role) Responsible for creating pop-up sales offices / information kiosks while fibre projects are in the building phase. Mobilise regional resources to man kiosks, events, etc., and ensure proper training, appearance, etc. Find events or create opportunities for brand activation to increase awareness. Organise awareness activities at sponsored events such as golf days, festivals, etc. Flyer drops and knocking on doors if required. Identify and maximise sponsorship opportunities. Fibre permission in-field support. In-person attendance and management of all activations (requires working Saturdays with the following Monday off). Social Media Publishing Maintain and update local Facebook pages with relevant local content as per digital strategy. Website Map Maintenance Ensure that the national website has the latest maps showing coverage. Work closely with head office to identify long-term brand awareness opportunities (outdoor billboards, radio stations, print). Reporting Manage budget and ensure marketing spend is aligned to fibre-take-up rate targets. Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/Skills 2 to 5 years’ experience in managing marketing needs for multiple branches. Willing and able to travel at least 2–3 times a month. Willing to work on a Saturday at activations as required; Monday off. Valid driver's licence. Ability to work quickly and under pressure. Problem‑solving skills. Time management skills. Team player. Communication skills (written and verbal). Education Requirements Relevant qualification in Marketing will be an advantage.
