Key Responsibilities Cost Control and Inventory Management Lead inventory control, physical counts, investigate variances and resolve issues daily/weekly. Conduct profitability analysis with cross-function teams to improve margin and reduce costs. Lead integrated financial management and cost management systems. Continuously refine and improve the Cost Management System (CMS) to reduce variability and enhance product and service quality. Ensure timely and accurate weekly, monthly and year‑end financial reporting and compliance reporting. Play an integrated part in half‑year forecasts and yearly budget preparation. Ensure compliance with all internal and external financial processes and related good practice strategies. Interact with internal and external auditors and support audit processes. Track and report KPIs and other profit‑improvement projects on a weekly and monthly basis to the senior team. Maintain ERP system integrity, including other IT systems (scanning, TandA and hardware). Minimum Requirements Minimum of a B.Com specialising in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting or Financial Management. 2‑5 years progressive financial experience, most recent in a Cost and Management Accountant role. Proven knowledge of product costings, price negotiation, planning and execution. Advanced level user of Microsoft Office; Syspro working knowledge is a plus. Attributes Excellent analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills / team player. Ability to identify, implement and monitor sustainable solutions to problems.
