Remedy International Medical is partnering with an established private practice in Bermuda to add an experienced Full‑Time Sonographer who specializes in OB‑GYN and Maternal‑Fetal Monitoring to their busy practice. The successful candidate will be proficient in ultrasound equipment and perform ultrasounds for diagnostic evaluation of OB‑GYN patients, monitor patient care and safety, and review ultrasound findings with physicians. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician within the designated time frame and in accordance with established quality standards. Review intake and patient history for information relevant to sonographic examination, supervise scheduling and preparation of patients, and record significant data. Document and generate ultrasound reports for physicians and radiologists. Review ultrasound findings with physicians. Enter all pertinent information into the electronic medical records system upon completion of procedure, adhering to confidentiality policy. Conduct daily calibration checks, maintain ultrasound and peripheral equipment, and record results. Stay up to date with BHEC Regulatory Requirements. Report equipment issues to the practice manager and physician. Ensure compliance with organizational and office‑specific safety policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area. Act as a solutions‑oriented team player and assist with additional duties such as answering phones and booking appointments. Education & Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Science from an accredited university. Registered and in good standing with the Allied Health Professionals Council and the ARDMS with sub‑specialties in AB, OB‑GYN, and vascular. CPR or Basic Life Support certification. Minimum 5‑year ultrasound experience in an OB‑GYN tertiary‑care setting. Skills Extensive ultrasound experience in an OB‑GYN setting. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and independent scanning of abdominal, pelvic/transvaginal, OB (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester), and small‑parts (breast, thyroid, kidney, soft tissue) areas.
