Responsibilities - Secure Our Systems: Design and implement strong security controls for all our technology platforms and data processing pipelines to stop unauthorized access and breaches. Handle Sensitive Data: Make sure the security measures around our geospatial and subscriber data are state‑of‑the‑art and compliant with privacy rules. Stop Threats: Monitor systems for security threats and quickly respond to, investigate, and resolve any security incidents. Improve Security: Constantly look for weaknesses and suggest new tools or processes to make our security stronger. Set the Standard: Help define the company's security policies and procedures, ensuring all development teams follow best practices. Mentor and Guide: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and other IT staff. Skills & Experience- Deep Security Expertise: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, especially in securing cloud environments (like AWS, Azure, or GCP) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Data Protection Knowledge: Proven ability to implement security for highly sensitive data, particularly location/geospatial data and customer PII (Personally Identifiable Information). Threat Hunting & Incident Response: Strong skills in detecting, analyzing, and managing security breaches and vulnerabilities. Compliance: Familiarity with relevant data protection regulations (like GDPR, POPIA, etc., depending on the regions we operate in). #J-18808-Ljbffr
