Key Responsibilities Deliver advanced technical support across routers, switches, firewalls, APN services, and wireless access points. Lead network troubleshooting, voice patching, and change management in line with ITIL and best practice frameworks. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Maintain and enhance technical documentation and operational procedures. Act as a senior escalation point, providing mentorship and leadership within the team. Ensure regulatory and security compliance (ICASA, POPIA, and related standards). Drive continuous improvement and stay ahead of emerging technologies within the telecoms and infrastructure landscape. Skills & Experience 5 - 7 years relevant experience Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP). Strong background in network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, threat mitigation). Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments (IP, voice, cloud, SD‑WAN, hybrid). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Leadership mindset with mentoring experience and a passion for operational excellence. Bonus: Experience with APN, RADIUS, and automation scripting.
