Role Purpose / Business Unit Defines and ensures implementation of the Vodacom Business Products and Solutions services strategy to deliver revenue and profitability across all segment practices and channels. Formulates the strategy for the Product & Solutions business unit, owns the complete Product suite, drives innovation, and delivers an end-to-end strategy for product development to maximise market share and support growth. Builds an effective workforce and delivery processes to provide high-quality service and support marketing and sales efforts for sustainable profits. Sets the overarching product and pricing strategy and supports development of pricing strategies and pricing optimization. Responsibilities Strategy Formulation & Execution: Define and execute the long-term Vodacom Business Products and Solutions strategy to deliver revenue, margin and market share leadership. Develop and maintain deep understanding of the Products and Solutions market, key trends, competitive landscape, and enterprise applications. Product propositions enabled through Fixed, IoT and Cloud, Hosting and Security capabilities to develop future roadmaps and industry propositions. Translate organisational strategy into meaningful operational targets and use customer insights to drive disruptive, customer-centric innovation and new revenue streams. Drive programmes that enable interconnected offers for a seamless customer experience; sponsor revenue-generating sales initiatives and pathways for route-to-market; ensure revenue & margin targets are achieved. Define and own the GTM Strategy for Value Propositions and achieve portfolio commercial goals (target revenue, new business, margin, EBIT & Opex). Budget Management Manage financials and controls for effective cost control; monitor expenditure against budgets and identify efficiency improvements. Manage function objectives in line with approved budgets, report variances, and implement remedial action; assess expenditure and resolve gaps. Review and authorise payments in line with budget and policy; identify, implement and develop processes to optimise cost efficiency. Channel Development and Sales Revenue Growth Focus on increasing net sales revenue within each segment practice and channel for Products and Solutions. Set annual targets for the Products and Solutions Organisation; accountable for profitability and the delivery of margins (sell to bill and collect). Deliver through Product capabilities: IoT, Cloud and Fixed to develop future roadmaps and industry propositions. Oversee and facilitate annual business plans, sales cadence and pipeline management; deliver services vertical P&L. Ensure service delivery translates to a high Net Promoter Score (NPS); partner with sales to set annual targets and ensure profitability. Establish governance on design, pricing methodology and inputs from participating functions; perform competitor and pricing analysis to support pricing decisions. Stakeholder Management Strategically manage stakeholders to achieve market success; collaborate with Vodacom Business Exco and senior sales leadership to develop growth plans. Enable effective cross-functional leadership to create a superior customer experience; establish and manage key account relationships with channel partners. Provide specialised support to internal and external stakeholders; monitor relationships and implement remedial actions as required. Delivering through People Lead the VB Products and Solutions Organisation to build a high-performance, diverse team aligned to growth targets. Support and enable the team through skill development, performance management, and knowledge sharing; foster a culture aligned with Vodacom Spirit behaviours. When required, initiate disciplinary processes with HR support; resolve grievances and recognise team efforts. Qualifications B Degree/Equivalent Postgraduate qualifications/MBA (Desirable) 10 to 15 years’ sales experience in telecommunications or technology-related environments (ICT), with demonstrated experience in: Managing large-scale customer sales organizations Portfolio management General management skills – finance, marketing and HR 5 to 8 years of management experience Technical Competencies Strategic mindset and innovative thinking; experience in solution selling with enterprise customers Deep understanding of customer business, market, and decision-makers; ability to translate objectives into Vodacom propositions Robust understanding of P&L and experience in multinational matrix organizations Successful track record in leading multi-industry sales teams and driving profitable revenue growth Behavioural Competencies Customer Focus; Accountability; Collaboration; Resilience; Flexibility People Management; Organizational Savvy Closing date for Applications: 10 November 2025 .
