Responsibilities Import bank statements and reconcile transactions against internal records. Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies between bank records and the company's accounts. Prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliations. Continuously seek ways to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the reconciliation process. Provide supporting evidence and assist with auditor requests related to reconciliations. Maintain a high level of accuracy for identifying and correcting variances. Analyze financial data, investigate deviations, and understand financial intricacies. Communicate professionally with clients or banks to resolve issues. Adhere to financial regulations and internal control standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain proper documentation for audits and reviews. Communicate effectively with other departments (finance, operations, IT) to ensure smooth workflows. Qualifications Diploma in Accounting. 4 to 5 years of experience in financial reconciliations, systems administration, and financial operations. Experience in the travel industry (advantageous). Strong MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Strong numerical reasoning skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Understanding and knowledge of all financial functions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
