Mars Network and Risk Services - Scheduling and Operations Coordinator 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Experience: 2–3 Years (Fibre Industry Experience Required) Start Date: As soon as possible Salary Bracket – R – R (Based on experience) About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join our growing team in the fibre and telecommunications industry. The successful candidate must have previous fibre industry experience and a solid understanding of health and safety practices related to field operations. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative operations, coordinating field teams, managing client communications, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Coordination Plan and manage daily schedules for fibre installation and maintenance teams. Coordinate client appointments and ensure timely project execution. Client Communication Confirm appointments, provide updates, and address client queries. Maintain a professional and friendly customer service approach at all times. Ticket Management Update and manage project/service tickets in internal systems (CRM or project management tools). Track progress and ensure timely resolution of open tickets. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and submit project documentation and submission packs. Maintain organised and accurate digital and paper-based filing systems. Assist with compiling project completion reports and quality control documentation. Administrative Support Handle general office administration including filing, correspondence, and data entry. Support operations and project management teams with ad hoc administrative tasks. Assist in monitoring stock and materials used for fibre installations. Compliance, Health & Safety Ensure all documentation, work processes, and site activities comply with company, industry, and health and safety standards. Support field teams in adhering to safe work practices. Follow internal policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements Previous experience in the fibre industry is essential. 2–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the fibre, telecommunications, or construction. Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in field operations. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM/project management systems. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy.
