Reading Technical Drawings Forging Exposure – Pref Hot or Cold Pressing Initiative Self-Accountable Lifelong learner What the person must be able to do : This role is in the South African metal manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context. Organize quality production on Forging lines Plan for tooling & material to optimize production Implement & maintain high safety standards Responsible for proper & safe machine setting Monitoring of discipline, time keeping and attendance Assist foreman with daily and monthly planning and production reports Quality production Scrap below 1% Achieve planned delivery dates within 95% Improve productivity by 20% Background work experience Must be able to read technical drawings Min 5 year experience in a forging production environment Preference hot or cold metal pressing experience Technical schooling background N6 or S4 in Mechanical Engineering or equiv Proven track record in manufacturing and forgining (we will check references) Strong interpersonal skills and team player Personality Summary : Moderate Driver – Ambitious, Results Orientated Go-getter.
