Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Matric plus Masters or Bachelors degree in Sciences, Business, Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years in Business Analysis, product ownership, or product management within an Agile environment.
  • Client-Facing Experience : Proven ability to manage client expectations and align product features with client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : History of working across teams to align product requirements with technical solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Demonstrated experience using data to prioritize features and improve product outcomes.
Skills Required:
  • Product Management : Knowledge of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to manage expectations, deliver updates, and foster stakeholder relationships.
  • Data Analysis : Ability to interpret data analytics and KPIs to guide product decisions and assess feature performance.
  • Change Management : Skilled at implementing processes that support change and establish best practices within a growing team.
  • Professional Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.

Role Accountabilities:
  • Product Ownership Support: Act as the main point of contact for product needs, bridging communication between development teams and stakeholders.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Document and prioritize business requirements, converting them into clear technical specifications.
  • Agile Process Facilitation: Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to keep development aligned with project goals.
  • User Story Development: Write and refine user stories, including acceptance criteria and task breakdowns for development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, priorities, and any issues affecting timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for efficient product development workflows.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and metrics to guide decisions and validate feature prioritization.
  • Change Management: Support the transition to a self-sustaining, full-time team by setting up and refining product management processes.
