Since their launch, they’ve experienced rapid growth and are now expanding their team to include an experienced Tax Reviewer to help them maintain their high standards of accuracy and excellence. Responsibilities Review completed S-Corp and Individual Tax returns to ensure compliance with US tax laws and internal quality standards. Identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues in tax filings, coordinating with tax preparers to address any concerns. Conduct detailed analyses of tax documents, ensuring accuracy and identifying tax-saving opportunities. Provide feedback to preparers to improve accuracy and compliance in future filings. Keep up-to-date with tax regulations to provide insights and maintain compliance in all returns reviewed. Document and maintain clear, organized records of review processes and outcomes. Requirements Extensive experience reviewing S-Corp and Individual Tax filings in the US. Expert proficiency with Drake Tax Software for reviewing and troubleshooting complex tax returns. Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, including updates specific to S-Corp entities and personal taxes. Demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies, compliance issues, and optimization opportunities in tax filings. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure precision in reviews. Strong communication skills for interacting with tax preparers, team members, and clients. Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
