Cloud Developer (BI Tableau & DevOps) We’re hiring a Cloud Developer (BI, Tableau & DevOps) for one of South Africa’s leading establishments, where data-driven insights play a central role in strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys transforming complex data into clear, meaningful analytics. You’ll combine your back-end data engineering expertise with advanced Tableau development skills to design and maintain the cloud-based data layers that support enterprise reporting. Responsibilities Design and optimise ETL processes using SQL to manage data flow across AWS, Redshift, and Snowflake Build robust data models that align with analytical and reporting requirements Manage and provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform Implement CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or equivalent tools Troubleshoot and fine-tune data warehouse performance Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that deliver accurate, actionable insights Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions Ensure all workflows, models, and reports are well-documented and aligned with best practice standards Requirements A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualisation Proficiency in SQL and hands‑on experience with relational databases Background in data processing, extraction, transformation, and modelling Working knowledge of AWS, Redshift, and Snowflake environments Familiarity with Terraform and Azure DevOps A solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling Desired Skills Cloud Development BI Development Tableau AWS Redshift Snowflake Terraform Azure DevOps Desired Work Experience 5 to 10 years Desired Qualification Level Degree If this sounds like the right next step for you, apply directly or send a message to discuss further. #J-18808-Ljbffr
