Responsibilities The role is responsible for providing support to the Marketing Intelligence and Insight Manager through their ability to manage Media Operations and the Media Team at large, as well as engage with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of monthly Traditional Media Plan. You Bring 10 years or more of Media Planning / Media Buying experience Experience in leading and managing a team 3‑5 years iGaming experience Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle A Bonus To Have Diploma or Degree qualification in Marketing or a related field What You’ll Do For The Brand Managing the Traditional Media Team responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Post‑Campaigning of Broadcast Media (Television, Radio, Press, Print, Out of Home and Cinema) across the Hollywood Group Management of Monthly Traditional Media Flowplans and Budget across the Hollywood Group Planning and booking of strategically important Media Campaigns on an Ad‑Hoc basis Clearly communicate objectives, timelines and plans to Media Planners/Buyers and ensure they have a thorough understanding of campaign objectives. Monitor and provide detailed reporting on all Media Plans, ensuring these are constantly optimised and improved. Ensure media budgets are adhered to and escalated should there be major industry changes affecting rates. Liaise with internal and external Legal Teams, ensuring contracting process is adhered to from briefing through to reverts and final signature (SABC and Media Owner Broadcast Licence Agreements in particular). Oversee direct buying from the Operations Team (including and not limited to Wall Murals, Taxi Ranks, Taxis, Busses etc.) Review and confirm monthly Order Numbers for processing (specifically for, but not limited to Media Agency) Ensure delivery of viewership reports from all Media Owners, on a monthly and Ad‑Hoc basis Ensure delivery of TV and Radio Post‑Campaign Reports from all Media Owners, on a monthly and Ad‑Hoc basis Collaborate with creative Teams, ensuring campaigns meet objectives and are aligned to our brand, specifically through timely delivery of Material to station Engage with the Brand, Digital and Product Teams to ensure all teams align with Monthly Content plans across the group (not limited to Traditional Media). Collaborate with Digital Teams to ensure Digital and Traditional plans align Analyse and streamline processes to improve efficiencies, collaboration and engagement across departments/businesses Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective campaigns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Teams across the business as well as external stakeholders. People Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross‑functional teams and third parties. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills Excellent project management, organisational and time‑management skills Work closely with Marketing Intelligence Manager to optimise workflows, review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present solutions Constant self‑improvement to ensure your Team consistently performs above standard Analytics & Reporting Understanding the Media Landscape and key marketing performance metrics to translate Media Plans into tangible results for the marketing team and the business. ROI‑tracking skills, ability to prove what is – or isn’t – working and providing recommendations and adapting plans to improve performance Daily, Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting Technical Skills Solid understanding of through‑the‑line, integrated marketing principles Heavy‑weight experience in all aspects of Traditional Media Planning (TV, Radio, OOH, Print, Cinema) Flowplan and budget management (Maintenance and Balancing of Monthly Flowplan) Creation of Media Plans using software like TELMAR and ARIANNA Monthly Post‑Campaign Analysis of all Broadcast Media activity Tracking and Monitoring of competitor ratings delivery (TELMAR AND ARIANNA) Tracking and Monitoring of competitor ad‑spend (TELMAR AND ARIANNA) Highly proficient in Excel Established working relationships with Media Owners highly advantageous Exceptional project management skills, driving multiple initiatives and roll‑outs to meet tight deadlines Able to work quickly, experiment and amend approach based on data analysis and results Basic understanding of Legal jargon Strong leadership and team management skills Effective communicator and collaborator with internal and external teams What You’ll Bring To The Team Demonstrate good analytical skills Strong computer skills Demonstrate creative skills Excellent relationship management skills Strong sense of accountability Work under pressure and able to meet deadlines Must be able to plan effectively and efficiently in order to meet deadlines Have excellent communication skills Market awareness – ability to stay attuned to the needs of the market and translate market knowledge into product innovations So, are you ready to level up, learn, and perform at your best?
