Role Overview 24 month contract SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) ConsultantRole OverviewThe SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultantis responsible for theimplementation, configuration, and ongoing supportof SAP's core Human Capital Management (HCM) module,Employee Central.The role involves working closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure efficient digital HR processes, accurate employee data management, and seamless integration with other HR and business systems. Key Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration: Design, configure, and implement SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to meet business requirements. Manage position management, workflows, organizational structures, and data models. Customize business rules, event reasons, and role‑based permissions (RBP). Ensure data accuracy and integrity during migrations and go‑lies. Support & Maintenance: Provide day‑to‑day support for SuccessFactors EC issues, enhancements, and reporting needs. Troubleshoot configuration or data issues and coordinate with SAP support if needed. Manage integrations between EC and other systems (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Learning, Finance). Process Improvement & Analytics: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities. Support reporting and analytics within SuccessFactors or via tools like People Analytics. Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, POPIA). Stakeholder Management: Partner with HR business partners, payroll teams, and IT to align system design with operational needs. Conduct end‑user training and create user documentation / SOPs. Serve as a trusted advisor on SuccessFactors best practices. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years' experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with hands‑on experience in Employee Central (EC). SAP SuccessFactors EC certification strongly preferred. Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of EC. Familiarity with other SuccessFactors modules (Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation) is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Core Competencies Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors EC configuration and architecture. Ability to work cross‑functionally with HR, IT, and external vendors.
