Scaffolding Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scaffolding Inspector to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of scaffolding systems used in various heavy industry and metallurgy projects. As a Scaffolding Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high safety standards and ensuring that all scaffolding is erected, maintained, and dismantled according to industry regulations and best practices. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding systems before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Review scaffolding plans and designs to verify their compliance with safety codes and project specifications. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure proper scaffolding use and maintenance throughout the project lifecycle. Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and communicate any deficiencies or safety concerns to relevant stakeholders. Provide training and guidance to workers on safe scaffolding practices and the correct use of scaffolding equipment. Monitor scaffolding erection and dismantling processes to ensure they are carried out safely and effectively. Stay updated with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to scaffolding and safety. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols and procedures. Assist in the investigation of scaffolding-related incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Ensure all scaffolding equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to meet safety standards. Preferred Candidate: Proven experience as a Scaffolding Inspector or in a similar role within the heavy industry or metallurgy sectors. Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify potential safety hazards. Effective communication skills to convey safety information clearly to workers and management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety. Relevant certifications in scaffolding inspection or safety management are highly desirable. Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions and at heights. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
