The role is about the successful marketing and selling of property and continued growth of market share, whilst providing excellent customer service to ensure that the RE / MAX brand ethos is upheld. Key Responsibilities Collecting information about properties (lead generation). Canvassing properties to sell. Arranging for photography and home staging. Deal with sellers and be able to talk knowledgeably about their property and area. Valuation – able to apply sound principles when estimating the value of a property. Organise and attend show days. Able to put together a marketing plan for a property. Represent the seller in negotiations with potential buyers. Monitor sales and liaise with all stakeholders including mortgage brokers, currency brokers, conveyancers and other estate agents. Able to knowledgeably advise sellers and buyers. Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market as well as the general market. Knowledge & Skills Required Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role. Must be able to negotiate and close deals. Have strong attention to detail. Must be comfortable picking up the phone and speaking to people. Must be computer literate and have a sound understanding of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Must understand that pressure and setbacks are part of the real estate industry. Energetic, self‑motivated, sales‑driven, people‑person. Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate and up to date with CPD and PDE requirements. Valid driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle. Fully functioning laptop with up‑to‑date software. Fully functioning smart phone. Live in the Blouberg & surrounding areas. Be able to sustain yourself financially for at least 6 months before you start earning commission.
