Overview A client is seeking a consultant to obtain expert advisory services and support in preparing and submitting a comprehensive robust and compliant application for approval under PFMA Section 54. The consultant's work is critical to ensuring that the company adheres to all legislative requirements and that the submission meets the standards of both the Executive Authority and the relevant Treasury. Responsibilities Initial Review and Planning: Review all relevant transaction documents including board resolutions, legal agreements and financial information. Develop a project plan and timeline for the PFMA Section 54 application process outlining key milestones roles and responsibilities. Due Diligence Support: Conduct or assist with the necessary due diligence including financial and legal assessments to inform the application. Assess and advise on the financial and non-financial risks and opportunities associated with the proposed transaction. Document Preparation: Draft or assist in drafting a comprehensive Section 54 application in accordance with the latest Practice Notes and Treasury Regulations.
