Job Description As a Business Financial Advisor, you’ll be part of a self‑motivated sales team delivering existing products and financial advisory solutions in the Kwa‑Natal region. Responsibilities Achieve pre‑determined sales targets by identifying opportunities to advise on FirstRand investment and risk products. Identify new business opportunities, record and forward leads to the appropriate product house to enable cross‑sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships. Deliver exceptional financial advice to FNB customers that exceeds expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions. Manage new clients, personal portfolios, and identify specific needs and goals in relation to financial advice. Manage existing clients, grow portfolios by contacting customers, generating leads, and expanding the active customer account base. Ensure adherence to relevant processes and compliance with legislative and audit requirements, managing high volume and less complex deals. Maintain up‑to‑date professional knowledge in your area of expertise to provide effective support and advice. Ideal Candidate Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment Management, or a CFP qualification. PRO 5 rating (must not be under supervision). More than 5 years of experience in a similar environment. Experience writing business insurance policies. Experience in sales, investment and risk acumen. Experience within the Financial Services sector. Not an unrehabilitated insolvent. Required credit record check in accordance with the National Credit Act. Ability to bring in new business and increase acquisition. Strong credit experience and negotiation skills. Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships (any segment).
