About the Role South African entity is recruiting for a fixed‑term Accountant (as maternity cover) who will be responsible for a wide variety of finance‑related tasks. The position is ideal for a qualified finance individual that is diligent and keen to learn about the business. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to apply strong technical and analytical skills in a dynamic environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning are part of our culture. Responsibilities Support the accounting system transition from Xero to Oracle Netsuite. Support the finance department with external audit close‑out. Support the FinAccs department with accounts payable, secretarial, reporting, analysis, taxes, compliance, budgets, month‑end close‑out amongst others. Support the FinOps department with treasury, business support, FP&A, budgets, forecasting amongst others, call centre queries. General support to the finance department. Requirements BCom Honours Degree completed. SAICA training contract completed. Qualified CA (SA) or eligible. 0 to 2 years post‑articles experience. Working knowledge of IFRS and good understanding of tax principles. Knowledge of Xero and Oracle Netsuite systems would be advantageous. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets. Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing environment. Attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines. Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
