Introduction To lead and be responsible for quality assurance of the accurate dissemination of listed company’s confidential information to vendors to ensure full equal and public exposure regarding activities of an issuer that are price-sensitive and to uphold rules of JSE obligation to shareholders of listed companies.To interpret and quality assure trading and corporate actions reference data across all JSE markets and various JSE reference data systems in order to underpin and support the ability of the JSE and the SA market for accurate processing. 1. Results Delivery Apply cost-effectiveness principles in everyday delivery to contribute to achievement of departmental financial targets. Ensure that all results are delivered cost-effectively through continuous review of processes and determine the most efficient and cost-effective procedures, escalate suggestions and provide input which can be evaluated for implementation purposes. Contribute to the overall JSE revenue and business objectives by providing quality and professional services to clients and therefore adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Ensure delivery of outputs that will contribute to the overall success of the JSE by meeting business requirements, following best practice principles and ensuring that outputs adhere to the industry standards and procedures.2. Stakeholder Relationship Management Provide focused customer service by proactively learning and understanding the business of main clients in order to be able to respond to their queries with insight and more value-add. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through efficient delivery of stakeholder needs/requests. Ensure and oversee that external clients’ needs are understood and consistently met by continuous communication to investigate issues and escalate where necessary. Seek approval of market sensitive announcement information (e.g. dividends, salient dates, offers, changes to the board and new listings) from the Corporate Action Consultants to ensure and take ownership of announcement accuracy. Ensure that external stakeholders receive reliable reference data through quality assurance and resolving any queries that arise from interpretation of the data. Alert external clients regarding non-compliance with the JSE listing requirements to prevent clients from receiving penalties.3. Process Management Follow set procedures according to service delivery agreements to ensure work efficiency. Coordinate timeframes of the local and international markets to ensure that information and announcements are disseminated concurrently. Act on requests by clients to retrieve announcements from dissemination for amendments as and when needed. Review announcements and deliver timeously to meet the client expectations. Assist internal/external clients by providing systematic/step-by-step guidance on system usage as required. Analyse incoming client queries according to level of complexity in order to determine if one should either assist, delegate or escalate issues as applicable. Root cause identified by logging technical queries to the technical support teams to attend to the query; follow up with client to confirm satisfactory service delivery thereafter. Safeguard confidential information against information leakage by adhering to agreed letter of consent. Remain updated on the most recent application of the CRM testing environment system and engage in relevant supervised training where needed. Train and coach team members or new employees on the various processes and system, provide guidance to ensure work efficiency. Analyse financial statements and corporate action or listing data relating to listed companies and/or products by interpreting the various data sources in order to make a decision on how the given data must be captured and processed. Interpret corporate action announcements accurately by capturing data onto correct fields on the applicable systems to enable the availability of reliable data so that market participants and investors are able to make informed investment decisions Quality assures the capturing of trading and corporate actions reference data by verifying that it is done in line with relevant guidelines to ensure data integrity Ensure reference data across multiple systems are aligned Conduct start-of-day and end-of-day system health checks by running pre-defined reports, noting exceptions and taking corrective action where necessary to ensure correct data for end users Continuous focus on resilient operations by reviewing processes and procedures continuously and suggest potential improvements and automation and update process and procedural documentation for critical processes and selected non-critical processes Continually review system functionalities and decide how to enhance them to align with changing corporate actions and recommend enhancements to the Corporate Actions Team Lead to align system capability with business needs Participate in user acceptance testing by verifying that system enhancements meet business function Attend to ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by manager in continuation with business and increased productivity4. Visibly live the JSE values contributing to the achievement of divisional objectives.Minimum Qualification: • Grade 12• A degree in Financial Markets or Degree in Office Administration / Compliance is preferred Minimum Experience: • 5 years’ experience in a compliance or office administration or stock broking industry position with Corporate Actions, Listings Requirements and Guidelines as an advantage Knowledge and Skills Required: • Administrative procedures and systems• Basic software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email)• Divisional service offerings• Knowledge of the JSE listings requirements• In-depth knowledge of corporate actions processing in the stock broking industry• Adapting behaviour to meet major changes at work• Adapting to a major organisational change• Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
