JOB DESCRIPTION: To support the Internationalisation and Partnerships Strategy, the University of Fort Hare seeks to appoint a dynamic, decisive, and knowledgeable person for the position of Internationalisation Officer-Compliance. Reporting directly to the Manager: International Office, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and executing smooth administration & for monitoring compliance with legislation and rules. KEY PERFORMANCE AREA Internationalisation Compliance CoordinationProvide immigration advice and support to international students, researchers and staff Monitor and ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and institutional rules governing internationalisation. Liaise with consulates, internal departments, and external stakeholders. Draft study permit letters, compliance reports, and update relevant media and websites. Track and report on compliance indicators internally and externally in line with regulations and rules. Resolve queries and escalate non-compliance issues as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Honours Degree in Administration/Humanities/Human Resources Administration Minimum of three (3) years experience in internationalisation within a higher education context. Sound Knowledge of national Legislation for International Students and Foreign Staff. COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES: Communication (verbal & written) Interpersonal conflict handling Teamwork & collaborative work Work management Administration & Governance REMUNERATION A competitive remuneration package, commensurate with the seniority of the position, experience and qualifications, will be offered.ENQUIRIES:
