Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site In‑House Counsel role based in Johannesburg . The selected candidate will provide expertly drafted documents which includes, but is not limited to, opinions, pleadings, motion proceeding affidavits and heads of argument. Responsibilities also include conducting legal research, and working directly with senior Associates and management to provide tailored legal strategies. The role requires ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Law (LLB); admission as an attorney in South Africa Minimum of 5 years post‑admission experience (non‑negotiable) Expertise in Commercial Law, Family Law and Insolvency Law Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents Strong skills in Legal Research and detailed understanding of regulatory frameworks and legislation Exceptional communication and problem‑solving abilities Ability to manage multiple cases, ensuring compliance and accuracy under tight deadlines Experience in litigation, risk management, and familiarity with local business environments Strong ethical values, team collaboration, and the capacity to work effectively on‑site Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Legal Industries Legal Services Please email your CV to #J-18808-Ljbffr
