Position Overview Red Rock Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work our mid‑closing shifts. We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy committed to delivering high‑quality care to our community. As a compounding technician, you will be part of a positive and supportive team dedicated to excellence in personalized medicine. This role focuses on preparing customized medications for patients in a sterile and non‑sterile compounding environment. The ideal candidate has prior compounding experience, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for precision and patient care. Responsibilities Prepare compounded medications accurately and safely following established formulas and guidelines. Measure and mix ingredients using proper compounding techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sterility standards in compounding areas. Label and record dosage information with accuracy and compliance. Process and manage prescription orders using pharmacy software. Manage inventory of compounding ingredients and supplies. Follow state and federal regulations, including USP and other relevant standards. Communicate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify orders or resolve discrepancies. Maintain proper documentation and logs for compounding activities.
