Location Bryanston, Gauteng Job Description Job Title: Claims Analyst Job Location: Bryanston, Sandton – In office Job Type: Contract to Permanent Overview Play a crucial role in supporting both the Operation and Sales departments by managing various administrative tasks related to Employment Tax Incentive (ETI) calculations and submissions. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of ETI regulations will be essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of ETI calculations, submissions, and refunds. Responsibilities Data Entry: Manage the input, process, and maintain accurate ETI data and calculations. Filing: Maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring they are easily accessible for reference, audits and or clients. Documentation: Prepare EMP201 and EMP501 declarations and other ETI tax-related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Obtain tax clearances. Monitor EMPSA statements of accounts. Submissions: Facilitate the monthly submissions of EMP201s and the submission of EMP501s during reconciliation periods. Communication: Liaise with internal teams and clients to collect necessary information to process ETI submissions or resolve inquiries. Record Keeping: Maintain records of submissions, returns, and supporting documentation; verify the accuracy of Employer Tax Submissions. Research: Stay up to date with latest ETI legislation and changes to ensure accurate submissions and reporting. Assistance: Manage and assist the flow of information between internal teams and clients for the preparation of submissions, calculations, and reports. Customer Service: Assist clients or employees with ETI inquiries and provide clear and concise explanations of ETI procedures when necessary. Reporting: Create, generate, and compile internal or external reports and summaries as requested by management. Compliance: Ensure that SARS submission deadlines are met and that all ETI-related activities adhere to legislation. SARS Management: Daily SARS phone calls and emails to facilitate successful and timely ETI refunds. Handle SARS objections. Visit SARS branches as needed. Debtors Management: Ensure that the company receives payment for services provided to clients. Weekly age analysis, reporting and debt management. Monthly Invoices: Prepare schedules used to issue invoices to clients. Manage Suppliers: Manage work given to external suppliers, track turnaround times and provide regular updates on progress. Qualifications and Skills Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS Previous experience in tax administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with TAA and ETI Legislation and the ability to interpret EMP201, EMP501 and PAYE Statements of account. Proficiency in using: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) / IRP5 Files eFiling Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. High level of professionalism when interacting with clients. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
