RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, reconciliations and journal entries Ensuring timely payments of accounts payable Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports Assist with budget preparation and forecasting Maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations including submission of returns Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements Provide support to the accounting team as needed Manage intercompany loan accounts and transactions between our group of companies Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve any discrepancies Prepare intercompany invoices and ensure proper recording of intercompany transactions Perform any other duties required that could be expected from the position Manage 5 team members in the accounting department REQUIREMENTS:Degree in Accounting or Finance Completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA) would be advantageous 5 - 7 years of accounting experience Proficiency in SAGE Partner or Evolution and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Clear Credit and Criminal checks Validation of Highest Level of Education Valid References
