Duties & Responsibilities Focus Areas: Instilling a passion for responsible entrepreneurship. Demonstrating that entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Equipping students to transform ideas into sustainable ventures. Building a strong connection with the Foundation and its venture funding partner. Promoting a culture of community and collaboration. Why this matters: In an exponentially evolving world, entrepreneurship has become increasingly crucial for driving sustainable change. By participating you can position yourself at the cutting edge of the transformation. Programme eligibility: South African Citizens, Under 35 years of age, An undergraduate degree from: WITS, UJ, UP, UCT, UWC, SU, NMU, RU, UFS, UKZN, and TSIBA, Academic average of 60% for the undergraduate degree, Enrolled in a postgraduate programme for at UWC. Evidence of acceptance to the relevant postgraduate stream. Programme details: Duration: February – December. Time Commitment: Approximately hours (online and in-person content). Content covers entrepreneurial fundamentals, business case studies, mentorship, coaching, and venture development. Student profile: We seek students who demonstrate: Interest in entrepreneurship. Inclination toward starting their own venture is an advantage but not required. Strong community values, leadership, initiative, and teamwork. Alignment to the Foundation vision.
