Join our team as a Finance Reporting Accountant and play a pivotal role in driving transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in our financial reporting processes. Position Overview: As a Finance Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting financial information to support decision-making and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making. Month-End Close: Coordinate month-end closing activities, reconcile accounts, and review journal entries to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and assisting in the development of financial projections. Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Audit Support: Assist in external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and support to auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit experience. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CA(SA) minimum requirement. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the integrity of financial information. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
