Responsibilities Running the monthly payroll Submitting monthly EMP and VAT returns to SARS Bi‑annual filing of EMP returns to SARS Submitting Workmen's compensation to DOL annually Monitoring and reporting on monthly, annual and sick leave Managing company insurance for our assets Making ad‑hoc travel arrangements for staff (as we move toward automation) Filing annual return with CIPC and making any other statutory changes Liaising with Momentum around pension‑related queries Loading weekly payments for approval on FNB Checking / approving staff expenses monthly on Databasics Checking monthly rental invoice and preparing monthly ESG report Assisting with admin tasks such as buying gifts for staff, ordering lunch each week, booking conferences and helping to arrange social events Providing cover for Belinda when she is on leave (bookkeeping and fixed asset maintenance) Ad‑hoc HR assistance with paperwork (if time allows) Education / Qualifications Be self‑motivated and able to work with limited supervision Be a team player – we are a small finance team of 3 people who work closely together Meticulous in detail Very organised and able to manage a variety of different deadlines (some annual, some monthly, some weekly, some ad‑hoc) without dropping any balls Proficient in Excel – using formulae to do the work, not just a calculator Adaptable and a quick learner About Hexagon Hexagon is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.
