About the Role Playroll is looking for a results-driven B2B Performance Marketing Manager to join our global Marketing team. This is a high-impact, strategic and executional role focused on scaling our paid media engine and driving qualified leads across the funnel. You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and be our in-house paid expert, owning campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and Meta, while supporting ABM and programmatic efforts. You’ll work closely with Revenue Operations and collaborate with sales, creative, and content teams to ensure campaigns drive meaningful business outcomes. From testing copy to optimizing conversion paths, you’ll help shape how we grow. You’ve successfully run and optimized campaigns, with experience managing budgets of £25K+ per month, interpreting data and making strategic decisions that drive meaningful results. This is a strategic and executional role for someone who gets excited by experimentation, lives in data, knows what good creative looks like, and wants to build a performance engine that spans awareness to conversion. What You’ll Do Own Playroll's paid media strategy: Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, G2, Capterra, and programmatic B2B placements. Plan, launch, and optimize multi-funnel paid campaigns — from awareness to retargeting and conversion. Collaborate with RevOps and Marketing Ops to ensure seamless data capture, attribution, and automation. Execute account-based marketing (ABM) plays, working alongside sales and content to target ICPs. Drive campaign creative — brief, test, and refine messaging, visuals, and landing pages. Constantly experiment with copy, formats, audiences, placements, and channel mix to drive results. Report weekly and monthly on CAC, CPL, ROAS, MQL / SQL velocity, and pipeline contribution. Manage campaign integrations across platforms (e.g., HubSpot, GA4). Stay ahead of platform changes, performance trends, and new growth opportunities. Skills & Experience You have at least 4+ years in B2B demand generation or performance marketing roles. Hands‑on experience managing £25K+ per month in paid media. Deep knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads (Search + Display), and Meta. Familiarity with paid campaigns on G2, Capterra, affiliate networks, and paid directory placements. Experience with G2, Capterra, affiliate networks, and B2B directories. Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and CRM / Marketing platforms (preferably HubSpot). A strong grasp of the B2B buyer journey and metrics that matter across the funnel. An analytical mindset with comfort diving into GA4, spreadsheets, dashboards, and pivot tables. Experience working cross‑functionally with creative, sales, and rev‑ops teams. A test‑and‑learn mindset with strong creative instincts. Preferred Skills CRO experience and / or use of ABM tools (e.g., 6sense, Clay, RollWorks); multi‑region or multi‑language campaign experience; experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or service‑based businesses.
