A position has become available for a Cloud Specialist - Azure to join our dynamic team. The purpose of the Cloud Specialist role is to advance the Group’s cloud strategy, in a manner that conforms to best practices. This will include designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services, and encompasses the responsibility of designing and implementing processes to automate functions within the SPAR Microsoft Azure landscape. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Build Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS environments to support strategic initiatives. Develop processes to migrate existing Cloud systems into a standardized and central system. Develop and implement processes to automate the operational aspects of Microsoft Azure IAAS. Ensure Cloud billing systems are current. Implement solutions to ensure cloud systems are secure. Migrate systems on IAAS to PAAS. Ad hoc duties as required by management. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary qualification within IS. The following certifications are essential:Microsoft Azure certifications in AZ103/AZ104/AZ300/AZ301/AZ304/AZ305/AZ500; Microsoft certifications including MCSA-O365 and MS900/MD101/MD102/MS101/MS500. More than 8 years’ experience in a technical role (with having spent the preceding 5 years’ focusing on Microsoft cloud solutions, having deployed projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support. Technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, virtualization, architecture designs, scripting, and technology management. Proven track record of building and maintaining Microsoft Azure and O365 tenants. Implementations with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, ADF, and relevant automation tools will be advantageous. Experience in a retail or FMCG environment is preferred. Experience within an agile environment is preferred.
